AU week - Marvel goes noir

Hey kids,

I'm going with Sam-mun's suggestion of Marvel Noir for AU week. Steve is going to be both pre-serum (or no-serum, more realistically) and a member of the Irish mob in pre-war New York.

If it's in Harlem then it increases the liklihood of he and Steve having run into each other :D.

ETA: And looks like we're in San Francisco since it'd be more likely to support an Asian woman running a business.

I'm having Sam also being a WW1 vet who fly planes, he could know Bucky from there and then Steve through Bucky before he headed West.

Headcanon accepted :) on my end. Run it past Bucky-mun too, would you? I don't know exactly what she's planning for Bucky's backstory.

Childhood friends would probably work better. This version of Steve wouldn't be able to serve. Though of course if Sam knows Steve through Bucky... *hands* I'm not sure.

I'll see if Bucky mun has a preference but list childhood friends as the slight preference.
