On the plus side, the release date for AV4 is next May.

Ok, I just got home with the teen who saw it without me and has been ranting about it. Pretty much spoiled, which is fine as I don’t intend to be offline until I see it, but she wasn’t sure if Sam Wilson makes it out alive. Help?

I do as at this point I've accepted I'm going to be spoiled and I'd rather have control on where I get spoiled.

Thanos gets all of the infinity stones and basically erases half of sentient life in the universe from existence, including Sam and a large number of the cast except for the original Avengers.

I figured that was what would happen, given the comic story line. As long as the gauntlet survived though, there's a good chance things will be erased...assuming they take inspiration from the original story.

I went with my department at work, and I think afterward my team -- who knows how invested I am in the MCU -- was a little worried about me.

I frequent a pop culture website called Pajiba and they did a spoiler post last night that's helped me a lot to just digest stuff.
