I went with my department at work, and I think afterward my team -- who knows how invested I am in the MCU -- was a little worried about me.

I frequent a pop culture website called Pajiba and they did a spoiler post last night that's helped me a lot to just digest stuff.

I love that fandom means looking after each other. And understanding the emotional toll that investment can take.

Tell me about it! I'm a Star Wars fan. It's taken me years to find good, no toxic groups to hang out with. But now I have, they're amazing.

Given what I've seen on Tumblr and online in general, I can only imagine. Between bad fanbois who hate cooties and "guild" journals telling you how to write characters or how to be a "true fan", I've decided to stay far away and just block those peeps.
