Anyhoo, nerves_of_ice-mun and I have spent the weekend talking plans, and the schedule we're looking at is to cover pre-movie threads and do pre-threading over the spring and summer, with an eye toward finishing canon in August.

This entry is for anybody involved in Winter Soldier to request threads with Steve, so we can figure out the whens and wheres.

Something to bear in mind is that Milli!Steve has a boyfriend, golden_lyre, who is currently living in the MCU'verse with Steve and will be around for part of the movie's action. (And we have plans for that, too.) So some threads may need some tweaking to accommodate him.

We have plans for post-movie stuff, too, but we'll get to that when the time is closer.

So it's looking like Summer is when you'd get to Sam? I ask as I don't feel comfortable bring Sam into Milliways until he's met Steve. The extra months before I bring Sam in would likely be good to square things away with my other pups, so I am totes onboard for waiting. = ]

Plus, maybe I can find more icons with varying facial expressions by then. At the moment I am thinking I'll app him in May as I don't want to rush his app.

Yup, summertime is the goal, so we have enough time to wrap up the pre-movie stuff. We can do pre-threading out of the bar, too, to keep things moving.

If you want to play Sam sooner I'm totally okay with you bringing him in when you're ready, and I'll just keep Steve out of his EPs for a while.

Do we need to tweak the nursing home scene? Because OMG I WANT THAT THREAD AND ALL OF ITS FEELS.

I've established that he was attracted to Peggy, and that he liked and admired her very much, he carried her picture in his compass, and there was the kiss in the HYDRA base :).

He was with Orpheus at the time but only referred to him obliquely--being gay was still illegal in England during the war, and he still could have been court-martialed--and only when talking to Bucky.

However, he also come out publicly in modern-time Milli-canon, so she might have heard about that.

Do you want to work with that?

I can definitely work with that! I figured even if they were romantically involved, there still would have been a very strong friendship in there which could have easily explained the tears and even the events of the one-shot. :D

Absolutely. I definitely see them still being close and as long as we can keep that in tact, I am fully okay with milli-canon.

Sure! I'm still waiting on approval but that shouldn't affect OOMs.

My Coulson is from a universe where Captain America has never found Milliways. (Coulson is also still only just before the first Thor movie right now.) So at this stage I have no plans for plot or otherwise with your Steve, sorry.

Just to confirm your conversation with TL ages back so everyone knows what is up: our Clint and Natasha are going to be AU, so their Steve has never been to Milliways. Bucky | Alex and young Nataliya are a bit wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey-multiversey (details pending), but modern!Nat and Clint are still months pre-Avengers.

But thank you for giving us a head's up on this! It's nice seeing this comm getting some action. :)

Would you like to do some threads with a Never-In-Milliways version of Steve, or just skip that altogether?
