Thoughts? I for one am getting very excited (even with Quicksilvers badly designed costume) and I'm also hopeful for an expanded universe with spinoff movies, especially a Mystique solo film.

The alt-history sort of feels like an X-Men game of Chrononauts. Not sure how that translates into making a good movie, but I find myself intrigued.

Even if it's not Kitty who gets to the star, darn it!

I agree about the Kitty thing. I think either Singer or Fox has a serious Wolverine fetish.

The Chrononauts comparison is a very good one! Especially with the rumors of other franchise movies being AUs of whatever they manage with this movie.
