MCU-muns, Assemble!

Hey guys!

There are a couple more of us now, and some timeline shenanigans, so I thought it might be an idea for us all to mention where and when our characters are from.

(And if people are in odd times, maybe we can hash out basic character-interactions, or guidelines for dealing with the timeline mess?)

Ah, I am so out of the loop these days, but Jane is still somewhere in the first half of Thor. I would like to get her beyond the movie before Thor 2 comes out, though.

:D :D :D Darcy-mun here. The next month is a mess of finishing my senior project & my brother's wedding, but if you want threads I am so in. Darcy's a few months post-Thor, but I've left it vague what Jane is up to (Darcy's working directly for SHIELD now), and I can thread canon-y things or they can meet in bar, w/e.

(Thor just asked Darcy to explain what happend to Jane for him -- would you be okay if we OOM'd that later and millitimed it back? As Darcy will be dancing around Milliways existing.)

We can do that, sure. I need to rewatch Jane's canon and then drag her butt into bar this week since it's spring break and I actually have a teensy bit of time for srs rp.

Post-Thor, Jane will be immersed in researching Bifrost and that section of the sky for SHIELD and probably not dealing with silly romantic feelings for certain big viking lugs. So.

Not dealing with feelings seems to be what a lot of people do best, in MCU! Thankfully astronomy is there to be fascinating :D.

Ok! They might still see each other, some? Darcy's at the New Mexico facility that goes kaboom at the start of Avengers. She's being an office minion, not an agent. I know she's terribly fond of Jane (more so than maybe most students would be of science-y mentors, but Jane's fab and Darcy bonds pretty quickly with non-jerks who put up with her even if it's not returned), but also kind of failbots this "continuing to contact people you aren't currently around" thing, so honestly anything works there!

I might put a placeholder tag in your post but not thread right away -- thesis rough draft is due in a week, but I'm good with slowtimes.

just editing to clarify I realize they do not share a point in the timeline right now, and that doesn't bother me for threading :)

I'm going to try and get her in soon, for a loose definition of 'soon', but I would love some awkward jane-and-darcy bonding!

I think the only thing that's come out in Erik's thread (and ooms) is that Jane was in New Mexico without Erik, and stays there longer than Erik does. Also, I think I've said ultimately that Erik is in NM for about a month or so.

I think that's everything I've done that could affect Jane. (I may be wrong).

Also, they should meet up in m-ways some time. (when I'm done with this term, at the earliest, though I may placeholder tag)

That fits, since I think just packing up post-Thor might be a little difficult with all the research she had in NM.

Oh, college. It's so good at distracting away from pretendy, fun times.

When things are settled, yes to threading. :)

Hello hello! Believe me, I completely understand about being buried in RL. If you ever want Thor for an OOM or an in-bar thread, though, just give me a shout, and he's at your disposal to whatever extent schedules permit. :)

I will have to think on this, but I probably wouldn't mind one thread before his exit near the end of the movie, just to torment my pup when the Bridge is broken.

That is a very good question. Right now I'm leaning toward an OOM because it'd be easier to slow tag until finished?
